West Java, the most populous province in Indonesia, is facing various issues concerning rapid urbanization, poverty, natural disasters, environmental waste, and even intolerance. As the current governor with a background in architecture and urban planning, what are Ridwan Kamil’s visions around creating inclusive cities and regions in West Java? In the context of recent political, social, and economic debates in Indonesia, Ridwan Kamil will share his vision and experience towards creating inclusive cities. Dr. Amanda Achmadi and Ph.D. Candidate Diah Purwaningrum from the Melbourne School of Design, and Dr. Dina Afrianty from La Trobe University – AIDRAN will join this discussion sharing their expertise and experience.
